This sounds great as the game is lots of fun and having a helper is going to make things interesting.

Get your demolition squad ready! Tuxedo Labs is thrilled to announce that online multiplayer, one of the community’s most highly requested features, is officially coming later this year to the award-winning, fully destructible, sandbox heist game Teardown on Steam. Soon players will be able to team up together in campaign co-op, competitive and sandbox modes in the game’s largest update ever!

“Multiplayer has always been on our minds, and we’re thrilled that it’s coming into focus now,” said Tuxedo Labs CEO Marcus Dawson. “We’ve come a long way, and we’re working hard to get players in on the ground floor to tinker around and break stuff as soon as possible, but we want everyone to know: it’s real, it’s coming, and it’s going to be a blast.”

Teardown will initially introduce multiplayer via the Experimental Branch on Steam, inviting the community to play with new designs and features while providing feedback to the development team. New additions to Teardown‘s API are also expected to roll out around this time, giving modders an opportunity to update existing mods with multiplayer functionality, as well as imagine completely new in-game creations.

Winner of multiple awards, including Excellence in Design at the Independent Games Festival, Teardown’s realistic physics and fully destructible, voxel-simulated world give players total freedom to discover unique and emergent gameplay solutions to almost any challenge. Plan and pull off the perfect heists nearly any way you can dream of with an expanding arsenal of tools and vehicles, plus anything else you can get your hands on.

The Teardown team is also hard at work on development of its third and fourth major DLCs, with new details coming later this year. For more on Teardown, visit TeardownGame.com, and join the community on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Discord.
