Faran Tahir, who appeared as Ten Rings terrorist cell commander Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar in 2008’s “Iron Man,” is set to reprise the role for the upcoming “WandaVision” spin-off series “Vision Quest”.

The Marvel Vision spinoff has been in development at Disney+ since 2022 and was picked up to series in May last year with former “Star Trek: Picard” Season 3 showrunner Terry Matalas taking on showrunner duties here.

The new series is believed to be centered on Vision (Bettany) as he tries to regain his memory and humanity following the events in “WandaVision”.

Also onboard is James Spader reprising his MCU role of Ultron, while “Picard” alum Todd Stashwick will also appear in an undisclosed role.

How Raza will be incorporated back into the mix here is unclear and the character was seemingly killed after Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges) betrayed him and had the leader and his men shot.

Tahir, who recently reunited with Bridges on FX’s “The Old Man” series, is a veteran film, tv and stage actor who has appeared in many films and TV series. Filming on “VisionQuest” is expected to get underway later this year.
