Netflix has released the official trailer for the comedy “Kinda Pregnant” starring Amy Schumer, Jillian Bell and Will Forte
Schumer plays Lainy, a woman who pretends to be pregnant after getting jealous of her best friend’s pregnancy.
Soon the lie spins out of control and she’ll go through various crazy situations in order to keep her secret, even as she accidentally meets the man of her dreams.
Also starring are Damon Wayans Jr., Brianne Howey, Alex Moffat, Joel David Moore, Lizze Broadway, Urzila Carlson and Francis Benhamou. The project is Schumer’s first solo movie since 2018’s “I Feel Pretty,” the actress popped up in films like “Unfrosted” and “IF” last year.
Tyler Spindel directs from a screenplay written by Julie Paiva and Schumer, based on Paiva’s story. Adam Sandler, Tim Herlihy, Judit Maull, Kevin Grady, Eli Thomas, Molly Sims, Alek Saks and Schumer produce.
“Kinda Pregnant” will be available for streaming on February 5th 2025.
