CES 2025 is underway in Las Vegas, and it has started with some early keynote speeches ahead of the main show opening today.

The world’s largest and most important tech event had a full day of media with Sony taking the stage.

They unveiled they are collaborating with Sony Productions to make live action adaptions of both Helldivers and Horizon: Zero Dawn, two of their premiere gaming IPs.

Helldivers follows soldiers defend a fascist Earth regime against alien invasion while Horizon: Zero Dawn is an RPG set in a robot dinosaur filled post-apocalyptic world.

Both are multi-million selling smash hits.

Horizon seems to be a feature film now instead of the rumored Netflix adaption from the team behind The Umbrella Academy.

Also coming from the news conference is the news that Crunchyroll and Aniplex will  teaming up to do an anime TV series based Ghosts of Tsushima.

Inspired Akira Kurosawa, the award-winning game is set in 13th century Japan as the Mongol Empire invades.

As one of the last surviving samurai, Jin Sakai, fights back.

Ghosts Of Tsushima was also on John Wick Director Chard Stahelski’s list for a live action adaption. No word yet on if this anime version will impact that.
