Three years after being effectively cast out of the movie industry due to allegations that were subsequently dismissed after investigation, Armie Hammer says his career is starting to gather some pace. He was recently on the Your Mom’s House podcast and said that he is now hearing, and having, different conversations in the industry:

…generally now the conversation when my name comes up with people in the industry is, ‘Man, that guy got fucked.’ And that feels really good. It’s really encouraging.”

Hammer has a Western, Frontier Crucible, with Thomas Jane and William H. Macy with another two movies in planning, plus is in talks over a TV show.

“My dance card’s getting pretty full. That first job that I turned down after four years of this shit, I mean, it was the best feeling I’ve ever had.”

The lengthy LAPD investigation into various allegations resulted in no charges being filed.

Speaking of Hollywood allegations that have impacted the careers of promising actors, Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend has dropped her assault and defamation lawsuit against the once-rising star after they reached a settlement.

Lawyers for Majors and ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari agreed to dismiss the case with prejudice, according to a joint filing in Manhattan federal court on Thursday. Jabbari’s lawyer said on Friday that the suit was “favorably settled” but declined to elaborate. Her attorney Brittany Henderson said in a statement:

“Grace Jabbari has exhibited tremendous courage throughout this very long and difficult process. We hope that she can finally put this chapter behind her and move forward with her head held high.”

No news yet on any post-incident projects for Majors.
