The Viola Davis-led action thriller “G20” has officially set an April 10th 2025 release date with the film premiering directly on Amazon Prime Video.

The movie sees the famed G20 Summit gets overtaken by terrorists. Davis stars as President of the United Taylor Sutton who must bring all her statecraft and military experience to end the siege, defend her family, her fellow leaders, and the world.

Filmmaker Patricia Riggen says in a statement: “this is Viola Davis as you’ve never seen her – heroically kicking tons of ass in a global thrill ride.”

Davis’ co-stars are Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Clark Gregg, Christopher Farrar, John Hoogenakker, MeeWha Alana Lee, Theo Bongani Ndyalvane, Conrad Kemp, Joseph Steven Yang, Emmanuel Castis, David James, Noxolo Dlamini, and Gideon Emery.

Noah and Logan Miller penned the script with revisions from Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss. Davis Tennon, Julius Tennon and Andrew Lazar produce for Mad Chance, MRC Film and Amazon MGM Studios.
