“Daredevil” star Charlie Cox will seemingly appear in at least one of the new “Avengers” movies in the works at Marvel Studios.
The Perth-based gym DFRNT Health and Fitness has posted a photo in Instagram showing off Cox post-workout along with his wife and some employees.
The post is captioned: “It’s been awesome having Charlie and his wife, Sam Cox in at DFRNT over the past few weeks! Charlie is currently training for his role in the upcoming @marvel Avengers movie where he will play @daredevil. It’s been our absolute pleasure working with you both and we can’t wait to watch you on the big screen!”
What’s not clear is if the gym has confused Cox’s Marvel commitments with their posting. Cox played Matt Murdock/Daredevil in three seasons of “Daredevil” on Netflix along with “The Defenders” mini-series.
He returned to the role within the MCU for brief appearances in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” and “Echo” along with lending his voice to the upcoming “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” animated series in the role.
Cox has already shot the first season of “Daredevil: Born Again” which debuts on Disney+ in March. A second season will shoot in 2025, as will “Avengers: Doomsday” with “Avengers: Secret Wars” expected to shoot in 2026.
