By Hulu has released the teaser trailer for the half-hour sports comedy “Chad Powers” which brings movie man-of-the-moment Glen Powell back to television.
Powell plays Russ Holliday, a once NFL-bound college quarterback who tanks his career after some bad behaviour.
Desperate to make a comeback, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented and affable Chad Powers.
As the brief teaser indicates, the ‘disguise mostly consists of a wig and some facial prosthetics to round-off and hide Powell’s signature pointy noise.
Powell co-created the series with Michael Waldron (“Loki,” “Heels”). Super Bowl Champion Peyton Manning executive produces the series via their Omaha Productions banner.
Other cast members include Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez and Steve Zahn. The series is set to premiere in Fall 2025.
