So, after six seasons, it is coming to an end. Cobra Kai will wrap up with the third and final tranche of episodes. Netflix has dropped a teaser to announce the date that the final five episodes will be released on the streamer. February 13th, 2025.
This follows the last two drops from July and November.
In these new episodes, the aftermath of the tragedy at the Sekai Taikai will mean both Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai face an uncertain future both on and off the mat, as the pasts of both dojos mean they must face a reckoning.
As with the rest of the series, these new episodes are written by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. The trio also executive produce, alongside Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Caleeb Pinkett from Smith’s Westbrook Entertainment. Susan Ekins, Ralph Macchio, and William Zabka round out the exec producer list.
Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Xolo Mariduena, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, and Gianni DeCenzo will all return for these final episodes.
Post Cobra Kai, Macchio will then appear again in The Karate Kid: Legends in Summer 2025.
