The first trailer has been released for Steven Soderbergh’s new spy thriller “Black Bag” which deals with the thorniness of a long-term relationship in a world of shifting loyalties and betrayal.

The gripping spy drama follows legendary intelligence agents George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbeneder) and his beloved wife Kathryn (Cate Blanchett).

When she is suspected of betraying the nation, George faces the ultimate test – loyalty to his marriage or his country.

The film boasts an all-star supporting cast including Marisa Abela, Tom Burke, Naomie Harris, Regé-Jean Page, and Pierce Brosnan.

David Koepp (“Jurassic Park,” “War of the Worlds”) penned the script after he and Soderbergh previously worked together on 2022’s “Kimi” and the soon to release “Prescence” which opens next month.

Soderbergh’s “Black Bag” will be released in cinemas on March 14th 2025 through Focus Features.
