By Glen Powell is set to star in an AI-themed erotic thriller package titled “Homewreckers” which is currently being shopped around to the studios.
The story revolves around Beth and Henry (Powell), a troubled couple struggling with the unraveling of their marriage, fueled by suspicion, emotional distance and regrets.
As Henry becomes consumed by the idea that Beth is seeing someone else, she is offered a surreal opportunity to rekindle her romance for a younger version of Henry through an advanced AI technology.
Caught between their past and present, both must confront the emotional wreckage of their relationship as they “teeter on the edge of love, betrayal, and self-destruction”.
Neil Paik penned the original novella and is attached to adapt the script. Powell is coming off “Twisters,” “Hit Man” and “Anyone But You” and has recently been filming Edgar Wright’s “The Running Man”.
He has the Hulu comedy series “Chad Powers” and the film “Huntington” on the way in 2025.
