The second season of the Taylor Sheridan-created “Tulsa King” series has become a major hit for the Paramount+ streaming service.
The new run of the Sylvester Stallone-led series, which finished airing a few weeks ago, has reportedly reached 13.6 million global households to date.
That puts it as the third most watched show for the streamer to date, behind only its inaugural season and the Ford-Mirren western hit “1923” which also hails from Sheridan.
The news follows the new season setting an all-time viewership record on its premiere day for Paramount+. Paramount Global also says Season 2 has driven 159 million views and 6.1 million engagements on social media, up 894% and 553% on the first season.
Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany co-star in the series.
The show is executive produced by Sheridan, Oscar nominee Terence Winter, multi-award-nominated director Craig Zisk, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Sylvester Stallone, Braden Aftergood and Keith Cox.
It marks another victory for producers MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios who also produce 1923 as well as the recently launched Jon Hamm-led series “Landman”. That show had the biggest global series premiere for Paramount+ in two years.
