The Critics Choice Association has announced its television nominees for the 2025 Critics Choice Awards and “Shōgun” unsurprisingly leads the react with six nominations.
“Abbott Elementary,” “The Diplomat,” “Disclaimer,” “Hacks,” “The Penguin” and “What We Do In the Shadows” came in next with each snagging four nominations apiece. Netflix, Max and FX were the outlets with the most nominations.
The top honor of the Best Drama Series award is a welcome mix of acclaimed shows with the aforementioned “The Diplomat” and “Shōgun” going up against “Slow Horses,” “Interview with the Vampire,” “Evil,” “The Old Man,” “The Day of the Jackal” and “Industry”.
Nominations for the Critics Choice film categories will be announced on December 12th with the awards handed out on January 12th. Chelsea Handler hosts the ceremony. Check out the full list of nominees below:
