By Sienna Miller is set to star alongside John Krasinski in the new feature film continuation of Amazon Prime Video’s “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” series.
Amazon MGM Studios is producing the film which will feature several actors from the show returning including Krasinski as Ryan, Wendell Pierce as Jim Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November.
Though based on Clancy’s Cold War-era books, the TV series and presumably the film takes place in modern times. The four seasons rank among the streamer’s top three most watched series globally.
Plot details of the film are under wraps beyond it centering on the intrepid CIA analyst. Miller is playing an MI6 agent.
Season two executive producer and director Andrew Bernstein will helm the film, which has a script penned by Aaron Rabin. Krasinski is also producing with Allyson Seeger.
The project is being produced in association with Paramount Pictures and Skydance. Miller is coming off appearing in Kevin Costner’s “Horizon: An American Saga” and Netflix drama “Anatomy of a Scandal”.
