Landman
Paramount has announced that the first episode of “Landman” hit 14.6 million viewers in its first week of availability on both linear airing and streaming. Paramount did not define what it counts as a viewer. Paramount also reports that 6.7 million households worldwide tuned into the premiere in one week – the best-ever performance for a Paramount+ original. [Source: Variety]

Cunk on Life
Netflix has announced a January 2nd release date for the one-hour special “Cunk on Life” with comedian Diane Morgan returning as clueless documentarian and investigative journalist Philomena Cunk. The special was created and written by “Black Mirror” creator Charlie Brooker. [Source: X]

Real Time With Bill Maher
HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher” talk show may be over in the near future after 22 seasons. On a recent episode of his Club Random podcast with guest Jane Fonda, Maher revealed that he ‘may quit’ his hit HBO talk show “because I don’t want to do another” four years talking about Republican president-elect Donald Trump. The series has already been renewed for two more seasons at HBO. [Source: THR]

Liza
Liza Minnelli’s upcoming memoir is being turned into a TV series at Warner Bros. Television and Magnolia Hill. Minnelli is writing the book about her career in entertainment and experience with substance use disorder (SUD). It is being penned alongside her longtime friend and collaborator Michael Feinstein as well as Josh Getlin and Heidi Evans. [Source: Variety]

Bel-Air
A fourth season of Peacock’s “Bel-Air” series has been greenlit with the new run also to be the show’s last. It’s not clear when this reimagined version of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, set in modern LA, returns for that last run as yet but production is underway. [Source: Instagram]
