The Cleaner
Quiver Distribution has set a February 21st 2025 U.S. release date for the Daisy Ridley-led action movie “Cleaner” which hails from “Casino Royale” and “Goldeneye” filmmaker Martin Campbell. CLive Owen and Taz Skylar co-star.

Set in present-day London, Ridley plays ex-soldier Joey Locke who now works in one of the UK’s tallest buildings as a window cleaner. When a group of radical activists hold 300 people hostage inside, she must ensure the safety of everyone before it’s too late. [Source: Quiver]

The Hand That Rocks the Cradle
Martin Starr (“Tulsa King,” “Spider-Man: Far from Home”) has joined Maika Monroe, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Raúl Castillo in the cast of the remake of “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” at 20th Century Studios. Michelle Garza Cervera directs the film which begins shooting later this month in Los Angeles.

Monroe plays a twisted widow who, distraught over losing her own baby, insinuates herself into a family as their nanny to take the kids and husband (Castillo) for herself. Starr will play the family’s neighbor to whom the mother turns for help. [Source: THR]

Little Brother
John Cena and comedian Eric André are teaming up for the Netflix comedy film “Little Brother” which is in early development. David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer produce, but no director is currently attached.

Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel (“The D Train”) penned the script which centers on a well-known real estate agent whose meticulously planned life is shaken up when his quirky ‘little brother’ suddenly resurfaces. [Source: THR]

Rivals
Disney+ has renewed its saucy British drama series “Rivals” for a second season, saying on Wednesday that its critically acclaimed series will return to Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in the U.K. and internationally.

Aidan Turner, David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Victoria Smurfit, Katherine Parkinson, Danny Dyer and Luke Pasqualino are among the cast of the show set during the 1980s and in the world of independent commercial television.

Die Hart
The Roku Channel has shared the official third season trailer for its hit meta action comedy “Die Hart” starring Kevin Hart, Nathalie Emmanuel, J.K. Simmons and Kathryn Hahn. That launches on December 13th.

In the new season, Kevin’s search for dramatic acclaim leads him to legendary filmmaker Jackson Pepper. Pepper’s idea of role research is a bit more hands-on, and soon Kevin is living out the role of a fugitive on the run for murder.
