By The first trailer for has been released for the diving survival thriller “Last Breath” starring Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu, Finn Cole and Cliff Curtis.
Based on a true story, the thriller follows seasoned deep-sea divers as they battle the raging elements to rescue their crewmate trapped hundreds of feet below the ocean’s surface.
The commercial diver is stranded on the seabed with just a few minutes of oxygen, but no chance of rescue for more than half-an-hour.
The project is dubbed an “electrifying story about teamwork, resilience, and a race against time to do the impossible”.
Alex Parkinson, who co-directed a 2019 documentary upon which this is based, helms this. He previously directed this year’s documentary “Living with Leopards”.
He also wrote the script for this with Mitchell LaFortune, and David Brooks. Brooks, Hal Sadoff, Norman Golightly, Jeremy Plager, Stewart le Maréchal, Al Morrow, and Anna Mohr-Pietsch produce.
“Last Breath” opens in cinemas on February 28th 2025.
