Netflix has officially announced a January 30th 2025 release date for the second season of its spy action-thriller series “The Recruit” with multiple first-look photos showing Noah Centineo‘s return as CIA lawyer Owen Hendricks.

In addition the new shots show off this season’s inclusion of Past Lives star Teo Yoo as skilled South Korean NIS agent Jang Kyun Kim, and the return of Nathan Fillion as CIA Director Alton West and Maddie Hasson as Nichika.

In the new season, Hendricks (Centineo) is pulled into a life-threatening espionage situation in South Korea, only to realise that the bigger threat just might be coming from inside the Agency.

Hasson has been upgraded to a series regular for the second season, but her on screen mother Max isn’t likely to make a surprise return as Laura Haddock’s name isn’t listed in any promotional materials.

Other returning regulars are Aarti Mann, Colton Dunn, Fivel Stewart, Kristian Bruun, Kaylah Zander, Hasson, Angel Parker and Vondie Curtis-Hall.

Also starring are Young-Ah Kim, Felix Solis, James Purefoy, Do Hyun Shin, Sanghee Lee, Omar Maskati, Brooke Smith, Devika Bhise, Alana Hawley Purvis, Daniel Quincy Annoh, Jesse Collin and Fillion. Alexi Hawley serves as showrunner.

“The Recruit” Season 2 is scheduled to arrive on the streamer on January 30th, just over two years after the first season hit in December 2022.
