Half Man
Richard Gadd and Jamie Bell are set to star in the six-episode drama series “Half Man” which will be co-produced by HBO and the BBC. The series is created, written and executive produced by Gadd (“Baby Reindeer”) and shoots in Scotland next year.

Gadd and Bell play estranged ‘brothers’ Ruben and Niall. When the former shows up at the latter’s wedding, it leads to an explosion of violence that catapults us back through their lives. The series spans almost forty years from the 1980s to the present day. [Source: Variety]

The Animation Guild
The Animation Guild has a tentative deal with the major Hollywood studios less than two weeks until the current contract expiration. The union’s bargaining unit announced Monday it had finalized another three-year agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.

Among the provisions secured in the latest contract are increases to health and pension funds, wage increases, AI protections, and more. The contract will next go to Animation Guild members for a ratification vote. [Source: Deadline]

The Americas
NBC has released the first trailer for the BBC Studios Natural History Unit’s ten-part nature docuseries “The Americas” narrated by Tom Hanks.

Hailing from the producers of “Planet Earth” and “Blue Planet,”t he series will showcase the various wonders and secrets found across the supercontinent. The series premieres on February 23rd.

The Chosen
A teaser trailer has been released from the fifth season of the hit Biblical drama “The Chosen” which is scheduled to score a four-week run in North American theaters in April next year.

In the new season, the people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while his disciples anticipate his crowning. Instead of confronting Rome, he turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival.

Their power threatened, the country’s religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus’ last.
