After four seasons, The CW’s “Superman & Lois” comes to an end on December 2nd with the trailer for the finale having been released by the network.

The fourth season has seen Lex Luthor relentlessly setting out to destroy Lois Lane and Clark, in the process delivering some story turns not seen in a Superman live-action series before.

Almost the entire season has seen our heroes on the back foot as Luthor’s schemes have been paying off, at the same time Clark is dealing with the prospect of mortality and losing the ‘super’ part of Superman.

The finale promises a Lex and Superman showdown, the final battle unfolding in the skies above Smallville. At the same time Jonathan (Mike Bishop) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin) set out to help their dad – as does the rest of the town.

The series, which debuted in 2021, stars Tyler Hoechlin as Clark, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois, Michael Cudlitz as Lex Luthor, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Wolé Parks as John Henry Irons and Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang.

It marks the last DC Comics adaptation on The CW and the last Greg Berlanti-produced superhero series for the network.
