Lucasfilm Games has revealed that the mobile and Switch video game “Star Wars: Hunters” will be coming to Steam Early Access in 2025. The project marks the first game published by Zynga to launch on PC.
On Steam, the game will be a free download as part of the Early Access program. Players also have an exclusive opportunity to help test the game with an upcoming Closed Beta.
The jump to PC aims to offer higher resolution textures and shadows, better rendering and more detail in select battlefields. Players can also utilize keyboard, mouse and wireless support during gameplay.
Zynga executive vice president of games Yaron Leyvand says in a statement:
“The success of ‘Star Wars: Hunters’ on mobile and Nintendo Switch devices has led to our decision to expand the game to PC. This is something our community of fans have been asking for and we are very excited to welcome even more players to Vespaara. This moment also marks a milestone for Zynga as we bring one of our games to PC for the first time.”
Owned by Take-Two Interactive Software, Zynga is dedicated to mobile games with their most popular titles including “FarmVille,” “Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells,” “Words with Friends” and “CSR Racing”.
