John Krasinski (“Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan,” “A Quiet Place”) and Matthew Rhys (“Perry Mason,” “The Americans”) are set to team up to both star in and executive produce the psychological thriller series “Silent River” for Amazon Prime Video.

The series deals with the cracks that emerge in an American small town when it’s discovered a serial killer lives among its residents.

Krasinski and Rhys will play two men whose lives are more connected than they realize, but other character details are under wraps.

A series order has been handed out for the show from creator Aaron Rabin. Rabin served as a writer an co-executive producer on “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” series which 2024’s Sexiest Man Alive winner Krasinski starred in over four seasons for Prime Video.

As part of the deal, Krasinski and Allyson Seeger’s Sunday Night Productions has also renewed a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios.

Rabin, Seeger, Alexa Ginsburg and Adam Bernstein will also executive produce with Krasinski and Bernstein also set to direct.
