Netflix has released new photos from the Robert De Niro-led new series “Zero Day” which will release on the streamer on February 20th 2025.
Marking his first foray into series television, the show will see him playing respected former U.S. President George Mullen who is called in to help the current President (Angela Bassett).
Appointed as head of the Zero Day Commission, he is charged with finding the perpetrators of a devastating cyber attack that has caused chaos around the country and thousands of fatalities.
As disinformation runs rampant and the personal ambition of power brokers in technology, Wall Street, and government collide, Mullen’s unwavering search for the truth forces him to confront his own dark secrets while risking all he holds dear.
Also starring are Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Joan Allen, Connie Britton and Matthew Modine, with guest stars Bill Camp, Dan Stevens, Gaby Hoffmann, Clark Gregg and McKinley Belcher III.
The six-episode series was co-created by writers Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim and New York Times writer Michael S. Schmidt. Lesli Linka Glatter directed all episodes on the series of which De Niro is an executive producer.
Netflix will release the series on February 20th 2025.
