Poorna Jagannathan (“Never Have I Ever,” “Wolfs”) has scored the recurring role of Zoe in the upcoming DC “Lanterns” series at HBO. Aaron Pierre, Kyle Chandler and Kelly Macdonald co-star in the gritty drama revolving around two Green Lanterns investigating a murder.
Jagannathan’s character is described as “effortlessly confident and poised in any setting, even those where she stands out. She is every bit as composed and cunning of the influential men around her.” [Source: THR]
The Madness
Netflix has released a trailer for the Colman Domingo-led conspiracy thriller series “The Madness” which hits November 28th.
The Oscar nominee plays Muncie Daniels, a political television pundit who accidentally witnesses the murder of a white supremacist and realizes he’s being framed. He goes on a quest to prove his innocence.
Paradise
Hulu has released the trailer for its new series “Paradise” starring Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Sarah Shahi and Julianne Nicholson and hailing from Dan Fogelman (“This Is Us”).
Brown plays the head of security for a former president. His life begins to unravel when the ex-president is found dead and he’s the primary suspect. The series premieres January 28th.
No Good Deed
Netflix has released the full trailer for its dark comedy series “No Good Deed” starring Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano as a couple trying to sell their house that harbors a sinister secret.
Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris, Ray Romano, and Luke Wilson co-star in the series and all eight episodes are set to arrive on Netflix on Thursday, December 12th.
