As part of its D23 Brazil presentation, Marvel Studios has premiered a new trailer their “Thunderbolts” film ahead of the movie’s release next Summer.

The clip begins with an extended look at the scene where Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier attacks a limosuine carrying several of the team.

Shot in Atlanta, Utah and New York earlier this year, the film sees the team-up of some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s anti-heroes and villains as they go on missions for the government.

Effectively Marvel’s Suicide Squad, the team includes Stan’s Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.

Also onboard are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Geraldine Viswanathan as Valentina’s assistant, Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff and Lewis Pullman as Sentry.

The film is being directed by Jake Schreier, with a script from Joanna Calo, Lee Sung Jin, and Eric Pearson. Marvel’s “Thunderbolts*” is set for a May 2nd 2025 release.
