Zendaya, Anne Hathaway and Lupita Nyong’o have all signed up for Christopher Nolan’s next film which aims to begin production next year.
The trio join Matt Damon and Tom Holland in the new film which is presently untitled. Hathaway previously worked with Nolan on “The Dark Knight Rises” while Damon worked with him on “Interstellar” and “Oppenheimer”.
This marks the first time Nyong’o and Zendaya have worked with Nolan. The project follows Nolan’s massive critical and financial success with “Oppenheimer” last year and Nolan is expected to be utilizing new IMAX technology in the making of the film.
There’s been a lot of rumors about what Nolan’s next film will be about and the rumor that has the most weight seems to be that this is about aerial helicopter police with a tale semi-inspired by the film “Blue Thunder”.
The Universal Pictures title is releasing July 17th 2026 and is expected to dominate IMAX screens for many weeks after that.
Both Holland and Zendaya will be heavily out on the promotional circuit next July as Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man 4” opens a week later on July 24th 2026.
