Disney Animation’s “Moana” sequel is on track to take in the best five-day opening ever at the Thanksgiving box office.

Tracking service NRG reports that the film is headed for a $135 million haul over the five-day holiday from Wednesday to Sunday (November 27th-December 1st).

That would top current record holder “Frozen 2” which took in $125 million over the five-day period. The prior record to that was the first “Frozen” at $93.5 million, while the first “Moana” took in $82 million in its debut.

Ticket presales for the “Moana” sequel are currently charting ahead of both “Inside Out 2” and “Incredibles 2” – those pulled in $154 million and $183 million over their three-day opening weekends.

The news follows AMC CEO Adam Aron revealing on an earnings call this week that he expects the film to best “Inside Out 2” which is the highest-grossing film domestically this year.
