Lucasfilm has reportedly reached a deal with X-Men veteran Simon Kinberg to develop a new Star Wars movie trilogy, according to Deadline. Kinberg will both write and produce the trilogy, collaborating with Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy. This news marks a major return to the Star Wars universe for Kinberg, who has previously worked on other projects within the franchise.
