“Spider-Man” actor Tom Holland will star in Christopher Nolan’s newest film, joining Matt Damon in the secret project at Universal Pictures.
Nolan wrote the script and is directing the project which will shoot early next year ahead of a release date of July 17th 2026.
Holland is expected to shoot his scenes around his work on “Avengers: Doomsday” which begins filming in the Spring, and a fourth “Spider-Man” which has apparently been delayed.
Story details of Nolan’s film are being kept under wraps, though the new report indicates the setting is not present day. This will be Holland’s first work with Nolan.
Theories have ranged from remakes of British series “The Prisoner” and 1980s action film “Blue Thunder” to an espionage film that may be the closest we’ll get to a Nolan Bond movie.
Nolan is producing alongside producing partner and wife Emma Thomas for their Syncopy banner.
