With “Venom: The Last Dance” just a week away, Sony Pictures has been releasing more marketing material from the film, including a new TV spot in which we hear the villain Knull for the first time.
It has long been rumoured that Andy Serkis will be taking on the role of God of the Symbiotes, or at least his voice, and that seems to be the case in the edited clip which you can see below.
In addition, a new photo has been released of the character who is believed to be holding the powerful Necrosword known as the All-Black from the comics – a weapon with the power to slay gods that he created and tempered inside the head of the Celestial Knowhere.
Serkis is expected to reprise the Knull role in future Sony/Marvel projects so this likely isn’t the last we’ll see of Knull, though it’s still not yet confirmed if the character might show up in the fourth “Spider-Man” as previously rumored.
The pics and image follow Tom Hardy and writer/director Kelly Marcel making an appearance at New York Comic Con on Friday to promote the film.
“Venom: The Last Dance” will be released in theaters on October 25th.
