Mason Dye (“Stranger Things,” “Teen Wolf”) has scored the guest starring role of Bombsight in the fifth season of “The Boys” at Amazon Prime Video.
Character details are under wraps, but the character was mentioned in an episode this year as a Supe who starred in the early 1950s Vought superhero film “The Curse of Fu Manchu”.
Though only a guest appearance, Bombsight could potentially appear in the upcoming prequel series “Vought Rising” which stars Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash as Stormfront.
Dye marks the latest new cast member to join the final season of “The Boys” with Daveed Diggs also onboard in an undisclosed series regular role.
The fifth season is slated to begin production next month ahead of a likely early 2026 airing. The fourth season aired earlier this year and its launch saw a 21% increase in total viewers compared to Season 3.
Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti and Valorie Curry are all expected back, while Ackles returns as a series regular.
