We got a brief glimpse at footage in a reel a few months back, now the second season of Apple’s acclaimed sci-fi series “Silo” has finally unveiled a trailer.
The series is based on the “Wool” trilogy of novels by Hugh Howey. It is set in a dystopian future and follows thousands of people living as a community in a massive silo with multiple regulations to protect them from the dangers outside.
The first season ended with Rebecca Ferguson’s engineer venturing outside in an effort to find the truth and the premiere will deal with her battle for survival on the surface.
Showrunner Graham Yost says a lot of the episode will deal with “Juliette just trying to survive and the engineering stuff she has to do to try to stay alive”.
That includes getting to another silo where a rebellion went very wrong and is now seemingly empty… or is it? At the same time, a revolution is brewing within the silo we know and Tim Robbins’ governor is having trouble keeping the populous in line.
The new season premieres on November 15th with ten episodes running through to January 17th next year.
