Searchlight Pictures has premiered the second trailer for “Logan” and “Ford v Ferrari” director James Mangold’s new film “A Complete Unknown”.
Timothée Chalamet stars as Bob Dylan in the project which serves as a semi-biopic of the legendary music icon and explores the controversy surrounding the switch to electrically amplified instrumentation.
Set in the influential New York music scene of the early 1960s, Dylan is 19-year-old Minnesota musician on a meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts.
His songs and mystique become a worldwide sensation – culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.
Co-starring are Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Dan Fogler as Albert Grossman, P. J. Byrne as Harold Leventhal, Norbert Leo Butz as Alan Lomax, Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie and Will Harrison as Bob Neuwirth.
Searchlight is set to release the film on December 25th.
