Lionsgate and Fathom Events have officially announced dates for a planned theatrical re-release of the original “John Wick” in time for the film’s 10th anniversary. They’ve also released a trailer below.

The film will be back in cinemas for two nights only – Sunday, November 3rd and Wednesday, November 6th – with the screening being organised by Fathom Events.

In addition, each screening will also feature an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming spin-off film “Ballerina” starring Ana de Armas. Tickets are available at Fathom Events and participating theater box offices.

The film’s story follows the retired assassin’s quest for vengeance after thugs steal his car and kill his puppy, triggering the furious reemergence of the world’s deadliest and most-feared hitman.

Chad Stahelski directed and Derek Kolstad wrote the film which also starred Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, John Leguizamo, Willem Dafoe, Alfie Allen, and Michael Nyqvist.

The film grossed $86 million from a $20-30 million budget and scored positive reviews, leading to sequels which have turned it into one of the more successful action franchises of modern times.
