A couple of weeks out from its release, and the third and seemingly final “Venom” film looks set to debut to a series high at the box-office.
Early tracking figures and long-range forecasts from BoxOfficePro.com indicate the film’s domestic opening weekend is tracking to be in the $80-120 million range.
If it hits the higher end of those figures it will overtake its two predecessors who garnered $80 million & 90 million respectively on their opening weekends. It will also have one of the best box office bows of 2024.
The new “Venom” sees Eddie and Venom on the run, hunted by both of their worlds.
With the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.
Filming only began in late June last year in Spain but was halted within a few weeks due to the actor’s strike. Worked resumed in November and wrapped back in April.
Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Peggy Lu, Stephen Graham, Rhys Ifans, Alanna Ubach and Clark Backo co-star while Kelly Marcel pens and directs this third outing which hits cinemas and IMAX screens on October 25th.
