Netflix and Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson are currently at work on a new docuseries about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reports Variety.
The doco will focus on the sex trafficking, fraud and racketeering charges that were recently levvied against the musician earlier this month.
Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges made against him at his arrest, but remains in custody and was denied bail at his appeal hearing.
Alexandria Stapleton has been set to direct the project which 50 Cent will produce with production already underway. In a statement to the trade, the pair say the project is a ‘complex narrative’ spanning decades and:
“We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture.”
Aside from the charges, other allegations have been made against Diddy in recent weeks as further details of the case slowly emerge.
