A24 has announced North American release dates for two of the Fall film festival circuit’s most talked about titles – Brady Corbet’s “The Brutalist” and Luca Guadagnino’s “Queer”.
The Daniel Craig-led “Queer” will open on November 27th in limited cinemas. Drew Starkey, Jason Schwartzman, Lesley Manville, Henry Zaga, Drew Droege and Ariel Schulman co-star.
The “Challengers” director’s new project is an adaptation of William S. Burroughs’ novel of the same name and follows William Lee (Craig), an American ex-pat who develops a strong connection with a young student.
Meanwhile “The Brutalist” will hit cinemas on December 20th also in limited release. Oscar-winner Adrien Brody as Hungarian and Jewish architect László Tóth, who moves to the United States in 1947.
Initially forced to toil in poverty, he soon wins a contract that will change the course of the next 30 years of his life. Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Stacy Martin, Alessandro Nivola, and Isaach de Bankolé co-star.
