Pixar has announced the Disney+ air dates for its two upcoming television series.
First up, the “Inside Out” spin-off series “Dream Productions” – which focuses on the studio inside Riley’s mind that produces dreams – will debut early on the streamer on December 11th.
In the series, Riley is growing up and when her memories need some extra processing, Joy and the rest of the Core Emotions send them to Dream Productions.
It’s here where acclaimed director Paula Persimmon (voice of Paula Pell) faces a nightmare of her own: Trying to create the next hit dream after being paired up with Xeni (voice of Richard Ayoade), a smug daydream director looking to step up into the big leagues of night dreams.
All four episodes of the limited series will be available at once in binge-release format. The news comes just as “Inside Out 2” is set to become available on Disney+ from tomorrow.
Their first long-form original series “Win or Lose,” with Will Forte voicing a little league baseball coach, will come to Disney+ on February 19th.
Across eight episodes, each said to have a different visual style, the series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of eight different characters in the week leading up to the big game.
From insecure kids to helicopter parents to a lovesick umpire – it’s all funny, emotional and unique. Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ally Maki, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black and Phyllis Smith lend their voices.
