Early next year is going to be a very busy time in terms of superhero movie production.
Multiple superhero films will be shooting relatively early in 2025 including Matt Reeves’ “The Batman Part II” and Craig Gillespie’s “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” from DC.
On the Marvel side, both the Russo Brothers’ “Avengers: Doomsday” and Destin Daniel Cretton’s fourth Tom Holland-led “Spider-Man” will be shooting.
Now a report from DanielRPK indicates that a plan has been put into place that, scheduling-wise, will allow Holland to film both movies simultaneously.
The outlet indicates Holland’s role in “Avengers: Doomsday” will be bigger than that in “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame” so working out that scheduling is tricky.
This follows on from a report he posted earlier this week adds that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are at work on a new deal that would allow Holland’s web-slinger to appear in multiple MCU movies outside the solo “Spider-Man” films and continue the same style of Marvel Studios oversight they’ve had on Holland’s solo “Spider-Man” films so far.
No confirmation on either of these reports from Marvel or Sony yet so take them with a grain of salt.
