Netflix’s Geeked Week broadcast has begun with Joe Manganiello hosting the proceedings.
The first series shown was the live-action “Avatar: The Last Airbender” which is currently in production on its second season so no proper trailer as yet.
The new season will see the introduction of Toph, played by Miya Cech, along with spending a bunch of time in the Earth Kingdom. A brief concept teaser was shown and can be seen below.
The streamer also unveiled “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch,” an animated series based on the celebrated espionage video game series.
The project hasn’t set a date, but the title will see Liev Schrieber as the voice of Sam Fisher in the series. Fisher is a highly skilled covert operative working for a fictional black-ops division of the NSA.
The series hails from co-directors Guillaume Dousse and Félicien Colmet-Daage and head writer Derek Kolstad (“John Wick”). Animation studios Sun Creature and Fost are handling the animation for the series which was first announced back in 2021.
