The Apprentice
The upcoming young Donald Trump biopic “The Apprentice,” starring Sebastian Stan as a young Trump when he was being mentored by Roy Cohn (Jrremy Strong), has been rated R by the U.S. MPA.
The rating is reportedly for “sexual content, some graphic nudity, language, sexual assault, and drug use.” The film itself opens in cinemas next month. [Source: THR]

Jennifer Lopez and “Ted Lasso” actor/co-writer Brett Goldstein are set to star in the rom-com “Office Romance” for Netflix. Goldstein is writing the script with Joe Kelly, but lot secifics are under wraps. [Source: THR]

Steven Soderbergh has revealed he is writing a book about directing films with an analysis of the day-to-day making of Steven Spielberg’s classic “Jaws” serving as the “spine” of the book, adding that “this is for people who are interested in films”. [Source: The Playlist]
Megalopolis
A longtime analyst for Box Office Theory says Francis Ford Coppola’s big-budget “Megalopolis” has had “the worst presales start I have ever tracked”. The news comes as a new trailer for the film has been made available and can be seen below.
The sample for Thursday night previews in Florida show over 30,000 seats available and only 239 seats sold so far. Awareness of the film is at 19.4% compared to 33.4% for “The Wild Robot” and 48% for “Transformers One”. [Source: World of Reel]
