Just days out from its release, Paramount Pictures has launched a final trailer for its animated feature “Transformers One”.
The film explores the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry voice Optimus Prime and Megatron respectively in what marks the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie.
The film currently stands at a 91% (7.7/10) on Rotten Tomatoes – making it the best received “Transformers” film to date fairly easily.
Also in the cast are Scarlett Johansson as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion and Steve Buscemi.
The film is directed by Josh Cooley with a script penned by Andrew Barrer, Steve Desmond, and Gabriel Ferrari. Lorenzo di Bonaventura produces the animated prequel.
“Transformers One” begins its international rollout tomorrow and opens in U.S. cinemas on Friday.
