There’s not a lot of love for Joel Schumacker’s 1997 film “Batman and Robin,” except for maybe the actors involved who’ve had long careers outside the widely panned superhero film.

Now two of them, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Uma Thurman who played the film’s villains Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy respectively, have reunited offscreen.

77-year-old Schwarzenegger has posted a new photo today to his social media accounts which see him and Thurman sharing a meal together.

The photo is captioned “Freeze and Ivy, reunited. Watch out, Batman” and has the pair hanging out together some 27 years after the film released in cinemas and changed the course of superhero filmmaking for the better.

Reception to the film has not warmed with time, the movie still has a mere 12% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the actors have all joked about how bad the film was over time.

The film effectively ended the old-school Batman films that began with Tim Burton’s 1989 film and led to the reinvention of the property with Christopher Nolan’s “Batman Begins” in 2005.

Schwarzenegger had another Batman reunion earlier this year at the Oscars when he and his “Twins” co-star Danny DeVito, who played Batman villain The Penguin in 1992’s “Batman Returns,” took to the stage together.
