Kelsey Grammer was back in a big way last year in terms of reprising beloved characters he had previously played.

Along with starring in the “Frasier” revival, the actor briefly reprised his role of the blue-furred Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast from “X-Men: The Last Stand” for a cameo in “The Marvels”.

Last year he teased that may not be the last time we see Grammer back in the Beast role. Now, out promoting the second season launch of the “Frasier” revival, he’s been asked again if there’s any update on that front.

Speaking with ComicBook.com, he says the cameo had received a very strong reaction and some talks have taken place:

“There’s nothing I can talk about. What I do know is that there was a huge sort of outburst when I showed up at the end of The Marvels, I guess it was. The response was really almost… it wasn’t unexpected. There’d be some response, but it was pretty overwhelming, and so… there are some conversations.”

Marvel is expected to bring back more multiverse versions of past Marvel characters in “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars,” making those the most likely potential avenue for a Beast return.
