Ubisoft has released a new ‘world trailer’ for “Assassin’s Creed: Shadows,” the next mainline entry in the long-running series with this one set in 16th-century feudal Japan.
In the game, you will live the intertwined stories of Naoe, an adept shinobi Assassin from Iga Province, and Yasuke, the powerful African samurai of historical legend.
Against the backdrop of the turbulent late Sengoku period, this remarkable duo will discover their common destiny as they usher in a new era for Japan.
The latest trailer puts the focus on the setting with its forest shrines, river villages and more along with some of the visual tech employed like ray-tracing global illumination.
It’s also a dynamic world with distinct seasons and weather which impacts how players traverse and engage with things.
“Assassin’s Creed Shadows” is set to release on November 15th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
