The first trailer for Aussie filmmaker Leigh Whannell’s “Wolf Man” has gone online.
The release follows the film getting a standee at Universal Studios Orlando as part of the Halloween Horror Nights takeover.
An actor was seen in make-up playing the Wolf Man and offering a first look at the creature, the response has not been kind.
The teaser on the other hand keeps the look under wraps, offering mere glimpses out of focus.
Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner, Sam Jaeger and Matilda Firth co-star in the film in which a man seeks to protect himself and his family from a dangerous werewolf at night during a full moon.
This will mark Whannell’s fourth directorial effort following “Insidious: Chapter 3,” “Upgrade” and “The Invisible Man”. Like the latter, this is a reinvention of the classic Universal monster franchise.
Universal and Blumhouse will release the project in cinemas on January 17th.
