Todd Stashwick is reuniting with his former “Star Trek: Picard” showrunner Terry Matalas for the upcoming untitled “Vision” series at Marvel Studios.
Stashwick scored raves for his role as Starfleet Captain Liam Shaw in the third season of “Picard,” a foil and often an obstacle for Patrick Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard.
Stashwick, who also worked with Matalas on the “12 Monkeys” series, will join Paul Bettany and James Spader in the series which serves as a follow-up to the Emmy-winning “WandaVision”.
Though sometimes been referred to as “Vision Quest,” the show doesn’t have an official title. Bettany will play the all-white rebuilt version of the character here, searching for a new purpose in life, while Spader is reprising his role as Ultron.
Stashwick will reportedly play an assassin who is on the trail of android and the technology he possesses.
The “Vision” series aims to begin filming in England in early 2025.
