A spin-off of Amazon Prime Video’s highly successful “Reacher” series is in the works.
Nick Santora, who developed Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels for television and serves as executive producer and showrunner on “Reacher,” is set to co-write the spin-off with Nicholas Wooton.
Plot specifics are under wraps, but it is believed to focus on the character of Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten in the main series alongside Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher.
Last year’s second season was the number one title on Prime Video worldwide across both series and movies in 2023 during its premiere weekend.
The series’ global audience grew 50% between seasons in the first three days after it premiered, and it also debuted at number two on the Nielsen top 10 streaming charts.
The third season of “Reacher” will be based on the book “Persuader” with Sten returning alongside Ritchson as well as Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Johnny Berchtold, Brian Tee, Roberto Montesinos, and Daniel David Stewart.
