An interesting new rumor has emerged that suggests one of the most popular Avengers comics team will be appearing in the upcoming “Vision” TV series from Marvel Studios.
The show is expected to focus on the pale white version of Paul Bettany’s Vision from “WandaVision” as he sets out to find himself, but what the plot will be isn’t clear.
A new report from Daniel RPK indicates the show may take inspiration from the West Coast Avengers comics: “I hear this show will have elements from the ‘West [Coast] Avengers’ run and might even have members of that team in the series.”
The white Vision has been a prominent member of the team over the years, while the series has previously been dubbed “Vision Quest” which is a reference to the comic arc by John Byrne of the same name – an arc that is a part of the West Coast Avengers series.
Members of the West Coast Avengers have included several characters currently in the MCU including Hawkeye (Clint Barton), Moon Knight (Oscar Isaac), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Wonder Man (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), Mockingbird (Linda Cardellini), U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell), Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez).
No word as to when the Vision series might head into production. The first “WandaVision” spin-off, “Agatha All Along,” debuts on September 18th.
