By Universal Pictures has unveiled the first photos and logo for “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” the next major entry in the “Jurassic World” film franchise.
The photos show off cast members Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali in the film which is still in the midst of shooting. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, and Audrina Miranda also star.
David Koepp, who wrote “Jurassic Park” and its sequel “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” returns for the new film which aims to kick off a “new Jurassic era” which won’t see the return of previous characters.
Gareth Edwards (“The Creator,” “Godzilla,” “Rogue One”) directs the film which previously shot in Thailand and is still in the middle of a shoot in Malta ahead of wrapping filming in the UK with the shoot expected to wrap in mid-October.
Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley produce the film which is set for a July 2nd 2025 release.
